Editorial Portraits For A Magazine Feature -St. Augustine Editorial Photographer
Over the years, I have had countless photographs published in magazine stories and editorial layouts, but it never gets old. Recently MPI Magazine contacted me to create a clean portrait on white for a story about a local member (Liz Hogan). I hadn't heard of MPI before, but I was impressed after my research and excited to help. The association has this to say on their site:
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is the largest meeting and event industry association worldwide. The organization provides innovative and relevant education, networking opportunities and business exchanges, and acts as a prominent voice for the promotion and growth of the industry. MPI has a global community of 60,000 meeting and event professionals including nearly 14,000 engaged members. It has nearly 70 chapters, clubs and members in more than 75 countries worldwide. "When we meet, we change the world."
Liz chose her favorite image from the 30min. session on an iPad while on-site, and the designers agreed. The ability to review images in real-time makes commercial portrait photography smoother for everyone, and soon, the picture was in the following layout.
